TIERS OF PINK

Having this fun number today. I like the 3 tiers pattern and how the color slowly tone down from top to bottom. Despite this is a flare top, I decided to take a bit of risk matching it with a pair of off white culottes. Flare top and flare bottoms combination could be disastrous sometimes but I would like to have that continuation of ombre effect (yes, I don't have much white bottom and this is my only choice). Well, it turn out to be pretty ok for me. Never try never know =).

FROM WIDE-LEGGED TROUSERS TO FITTED ANKLE LENGTH TROUSER

From wide-legged trousers to fitted ankle length trouser? No problem. I had styled this wide-legged trousers in my previous post and it is one of my favorite trousers as it has that lengthening effect and very comfortable (you can view the post here). However, sometimes I would like to switch things up a little bit to have some variety to the wardrobe. Hence, I've decided to roll up and had it fitted at the ankle. And, that's it, another new look. =) Wait, curious how to fold and make it fitted at the ankle? You can view this video and I've used the 1st option in my look.

RESTYLING YOUR CLOTHES

Does this dress look familiar to you? Well, I don't blame you if you feel so as I am recycling this shift dress. I give it a tweak and restyle it with different accessories to make it look more formal and office appropriate. The previous outlook is a total vacation vibe and you can view it here

In this post, I replaced the initial lace-tie ribbon with a leather belt to make it look more formal and match it with a black bag. Just to add a bit of color to the whole outlook, I am wearing a multi-colored pumps. That's it, a total different outlook for the same dress, one is vacation ready and another is office appropriate. Super versatile! Also, your accessories sometimes do help a lot in creating different outlook and safe your pocket.

OH MY MIDI

Yes, I would consider midi skirt as one of my favorite wardrobe staples. A lot of people may feel intimidating to try on midi skirt as there is always perception that midi skirt can make you look shorter. In my humble opinion, I feel it's the other way round. I always feel midi skirt has that lengthening effect and it is always so flattering. All you need is to get a length that suits you. Depending on the choices of shoes, it is just perfect for most of the occasions, from office, dinner party, or even weekend casual.

I've dressed this skirt in my previous post and I decided to style it again. Unlike the previous outfit, this round I pair it with my loafer and with a brighter color top. I like the pop of marigold yellow and red color that added a bit of fun and casual vibe to the whole outlook.
