THE STRIPED SHIFT DRESS

I am basically thinking of vacation when I dress-up in this dress. Lace-up sandals, dangling earrings and a pop of red for the bag, it is just so perfect for a vacation at somewhere sunny or tropical. I like the crisp white color of this dress and the black stripes on it, so contrast and yet chic.

Putting vacation aside, this dress could actually be office appropriate. Switch the lace-tie ribbon with a belt and match with a pair of pumps and the whole outlook will be so different. It could be so preppy. Perhaps I could show you in another blog post. =)

SWEATER + WIDE LEGGED JEANS

Hi everyone, hope you are doing well. Wearing comfortably had been my first choice lately when it comes to clothing. I had been reaching out to comfortable garments every morning before I left home for work. Hence, other than boyfriend jeans, trousers, or culottes, wide legged jean is another perfect option. I can wear it all day long and still feel comfortable. Today, I'm pairing my wide legged jeans with a pale blue sweater. Simple, chic, comfortable and I'm ready to go.

HIGH WAIST + WIDE LEG JEANS - THE SAVIOR FOR PETITES

Hi everyone. It's all about the high waist wide leg jeans today. If you are a petite like me, good news! If you want to look taller, good news! This jeans is your savor. It elongates the leg and make a person look a few more inches taller. And, it is so comfortable because of it's wide leg cut. I'm a little bit skeptical about it in the beginning worrying that I'll look funny but I always have the "no harm trying" thinking when it comes to clothes and I was sold the moment I put it on. Comfortable? Checked. Look taller? Checked. That's it, what could I ask for more. It's just so perfect. At the cashier right away, no regrets. =p

CIRCLE SKIRT

Pulling out one of my favourite circle skirt today. I basically like everything about this skirt - the pattern & the length of the skirt, the magenta color, and the chevron patterns. Everything just touches the right point. I'm matching it with my crisp white shirt today to toughen up the look a little bit and wear a pair of light pink pumps to match the magenta color of the skirt.

RIBBED BOYFRIEND JEANS + TURTLENECK TOP

Sometimes you just don't have any idea what to wear for the day. Normally a pair of jeans will help solve this problem. Like today, I just wanted to have something simple. My boyfriend jeans would be always the go to item when I'm in this mode. Pairing with a sleeves turtle neck top and I'm ready to go. Simple and edgy.

CHEVRON + STRIPES, GREEN + MAGENTA

Mixing patterns and colors today. To balance up the pattern, I'm mixing the thicker stripes with thinner chevron. As for the color, the pink color logo at the pocket just gave me the idea to match the bright green with magenta. The darker magenta shade just went well with the bright green. I'm matching my outfit with a pale pink color pumps to have a continuity from the magenta color.
